Free snippet campaign terms
Version free-2026-10-03 · 3 October 2026 · Draft for legal review
NIAR LTDA runs this pre-launch campaign. Contact: vibe@snipp.ist. These terms apply to submissions through snipp.ist/free alongside our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
Who can apply
You must be at least 16. Where local rules require a parent or guardian’s permission, obtain it before applying. Each person may submit once using one email address and one social account. Confirm your email using the link we send. Places are allocated in weekly batches; the available count and upload capacity determine whether submissions are open. The campaign is free. Submission is subject to review and acceptance.
Your materials and permissions
Upload one MP3, WAV or M4A track up to 50 MB and 3–15 MP4, MOV, M4V or WebM videos up to 200 MB each, with a combined maximum of 1 GB. You confirm that you have the rights needed to upload, process and combine the track and videos, and permission from the people shown. You retain your rights. You give NIAR LTDA a non-exclusive permission to process these materials and create and deliver your snippet. Obtain all permissions needed before sharing your finished snippet.
We use external AI providers described in the Privacy Policy for analysis, direction, editing and generated visual elements. This can involve your audio, footage, frames showing people and your optional creative note. You acknowledge this processing when applying. AI output can contain mistakes; review the result before publishing it.
For musicians using their own track
Provide your artist name and link and confirm your rights to the track. You grant NIAR LTDA a non-exclusive permission to publish the finished version with the Snippist mark on Snippist’s Instagram, YouTube and TikTok accounts, with your artist credit and tag. This permission covers the track and footage within that snippet. You can request removal of a Snippist post at vibe@snipp.ist; we will remove posts we control and explain any limitations involving other people’s copies.
We choose features editorially. A feature is optional and publication is not guaranteed. Musicians using their own track receive priority; willingness to share a snippet they like also helps prioritise the queue. Musicians whose own-track submission is accepted and whose finished snippet is delivered become Founding artists. The package includes 20% off any selected subscription for the first 12 months, a Founding artist profile on snipp.ist and priority in the queue. At the app’s launch in the App Store, we will email a personal one-time offer code and redemption instructions to your confirmed address. Choose one plan; the code applies to that plan and is intended for new subscribers to the subscription group. Apple shows the applicable local price, offer expiry and renewal terms before confirmation. The code has no cash value. Your ordinary first-subscription Takes bonus remains available under the app’s offer terms.
Your standard subscription price is protected against future price increases while that subscription continues uninterrupted. After the 12-month discount, your protected standard price applies. Ending the subscription ends this price protection; a new plan or subscription uses the terms shown by Apple. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled in your Apple Account. The Founding artist profile and any social feature are coordinated with you; publication of your snippet is not guaranteed.
Delivery and your feedback
Our target after acceptance is 72 hours for musicians with their own track and 7 days for other accepted submissions. These are estimates; capacity and technical problems can affect delivery. We may decline submissions and record the reason. You receive a clean version without the Snippist mark by private email link. The marked version is prepared for Snippist’s social accounts.
The private result is available for 30 days. Download your copy in that time and keep the link private. The feedback form asks for a rating, whether you would share the snippet, and what you would pay. Permission to quote your feedback is a separate optional choice. If you publish, please tag @snippist. Your answer about willingness to publish is voluntary feedback, with no obligation to post.
Storage and requests
Uploads use a private Cloudflare R2 bucket. We remove source files there after a verified download to the coordinator’s Mac. Local sources, preparation files and results are removed within 30 days after delivery; R2 results expire after 30 days. Incomplete uploads expire after 24 hours, unconfirmed submissions after 7 days, and stalled materials after 30 days. Submission and feedback records are retained for 180 days after delivery or rejection, or after creation for stalled submissions. See the campaign section of the Privacy Policy for processors, permissions and requests.
You can contact vibe@snipp.ist to request access, correction, deletion or withdrawal of publication or quotation permission. Mandatory consumer and data-protection rights remain available. We can close future batches or update future campaign terms; accepted submissions retain the version recorded when they were submitted.
